日本発北米向け海上コンテナ輸送で、ブッキングが来月になるケースが増えている。アジア発北米向けスポットコンテナ運賃の急騰でアジア発にスペース割り当てが優先され、日本発がひっ迫している。フォワーダー・NVOCC・海上混載各社によると、中華圏の国慶節を控える今月中はおおむね日本発で新規のブッキングが取りにくく、「決まった数量以上の追加のコンテナは受けてくれない」状況だ。一部でブッキングが来月末となる例も出ている。アジア発北米向けでは、FEU当たり数千ドルの値上げを顧客に転嫁せざるを得ない環境に直面している。
There are an increasing number of cases where bookings will be made next month for marine container transportation from Japan to North America. Due to the sharp rise in spot container fares from Asia to North America, space allocation is prioritized over Asian departures, and Japan departures are tight. According to forwarders, NVOCCs, and mixed-season carriers, it is difficult to get new bookings from Japan during this month, which is ahead of the National Day of the People's Republic of China, and "we will not accept additional containers beyond the fixed number."
