日通総合研究所は「2020年度の経済と貨物輸送の見通し(改訂)」を公表した。外貿コンテナ(国際海上貨物)、国際航空貨物は輸出・輸入共に新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響を反映し、前回発表(2020年3月)から前年度実績を大幅に下方修正した。同社は経済への新型コロナの影響度合いが世界大恐慌時に匹敵するとし、2020年いっぱいは停滞が避けられないと予測。米中貿易摩擦の再燃・激化やコロナの再流行により、回復が遅れてマイナス幅が一段と拡大する可能性もあると指摘する。
