ボーイング、2年後に747生産打ち切りへ Boeing is to stop producing the 747 in two years

ボーイング（アメリカ）は、商用機を追加減産する方針を明らかにした。 新型コロナウイルスの影響が想定を上回ると判断し、４月に公表した生産計画をさらに引き下げる。「ジャンボジェット」の呼び名で知られた大型機747は受注済みの貨物機を納入する2022年に生産を打ち切るとした。 そのほか大型機777は4.5機から２機へ、 中型機787のは従来の月間14機から2021年に6機まで落とすという。

Boeing (USA) has announced plans to cut production of commercial aircraft. Judging that the effect of the new coronavirus exceeds expectations, the production plan announced in April will be further lowered. The large 747, known as the "Jumbo Jet", will stop production in 2022, when it will deliver the ordered freighter. In addition, the number of large aircraft 777 will be reduced from 4.5 to 2, and the number of medium-sized aircraft 787 will be reduced from 14 in the previous month to 6 in 2021.
