日立物流・SGHD提携変更、国際物流が課題 Hitachi Transport System and SG Holdings change partnership

日立物流とSGホールディングスは、株式持分比率と資本業務提携契約を変更する。2016年3月の契約締結時、両者経営統合で売上高1兆6300億円(単純合算、当時)となり、国内では日本通運に次ぐ物流企業誕生へと注目を集めた。両者は「協創」での価値創出に取り組み、国内では一定の成果を挙げる一方、国際物流では両者とも得意とする国・地域、産業、サービスが大きく異なり、限定的だった。国際物流での成長戦略は、課題として引き続き残ることになる。

Hitachi Transport System and SG Holdings will change their shareholding ratio and capital and business alliance agreement. When the contract was signed in March 2016, the business integration of the two companies resulted in sales of 1,630 billion yen (simple total, at that time), attracting attention for the birth of a logistics company next to Nippon Express in Japan. Both of them worked on value creation through "co-creation" and achieved some results in Japan, but in international logistics, the countries / regions, industries, and services that they are good at were very different and limited. Growth strategies in international logistics will remain an issue.
