コンテナ運賃が上海発北米向けで最高値 Highest container fare from Shanghai to North America

中国から米国に向かう海上コンテナのスポット運賃が2009年の調査開始以来の最高値を更新した。上海発米西海岸向け運賃は7月3日時点で40ftコンテナ1個2920ドル。安値が続いていた4月下旬から約2倍となり、これまでの最高値だった2012年8月の2782ドルを上回った。運賃は中国・上海航運交易所が調査している。新型コロナウイルスの影響で輸送需要は減少したが、海運各社の減便でスペース需給が締まった。

The spot fare for sea containers from China to the US has reached a new high since the start of the 2009 survey. The fare from Shanghai to the US West Coast is $2,920 per 40ft container as of July 3. The price has doubled since late lows in late April, surpassing the previous high of $2,782 in August 2012. The fares are being investigated by the China-Shanghai Shipping Exchange. Demand for transportation decreased due to the impact of the coronavirus, but supply and demand for space was tightened due to a reduction in flights by shipping companies.
