DHLグローバル・トレード・バロメーター(GTB)の報告書をもとにした貿易成長動向の見通しを発表した。 GTBは、人工知能、ビッグデータを駆使することにより算定される国際貿易成長に対する早期指標で、2018年1月から年4回発行されている。 日本の貿易は6~8月にかけて成長率の低下傾向が加速し、総合指数は50ポイント(-7ポイント)を記録するとしている。 国際貿易情勢の不安定と不確実性が継続していることに加え、米中対立の関税措置にも間接的に晒され、 航空・海上輸送量は、ともにほぼゼロ成長に減速する見通しだという。 GTBの調査対象となった全ての国のうち、米中両国の貿易見通しは米国が-11ポイント、中国が-7ポイントと最大の下げ幅を記録した。
