港湾春闘、GWのスト回避　Japan port avoided nine day-strike

2019年港湾春闘は24日、第7回中央団体交渉を開催した。組合側がゴールデンウイーク中の4月28日から5月6日までの9日間のストライキを検討していたが、日本港運協会が国民生活への影響を考え回避を要請。組合側は、継続的な交渉に向けて次回団交日程を5月9日午後2時からに決めたことを受け、ストの実施を見送った。組合は既に毎週日曜の24時間ストを通告しているが、連休中の日曜となる28日と5日もストを行わないこととなった。

On the 24th, annual wage negotiations was held between management and labour unions. The union was considering a nine-day strike from April 28th to May 6th during the Golden Week, but the Japan Port Transportation Association called for avoidance, considering its impact on the people's life. The union side missed the implementation of the strike after having decided on the next teaming schedule from 2 pm on May 9 for the ongoing negotiations. The union has already announced a strike on Sundays 24 hours each week, but will not strike on the 28th and 5th, which is Sunday on consecutive holidays.
