日本郵船、通期経常益700億円 航空運送も黒字転換 NYK's full-year ordinary income is 70 billion yen

日本郵船は、2021年3月期の通期連結経常利益が700億円(前期比+57%)となる見通しを発表した。8月上旬公表の従来予想に比べ3.5倍と大幅に上方修正。米国の巣ごもり需要を追い風としたコンテナ船の北米トレード活況や物流需要の回復、旅客便停止に伴う航空運送の需給タイト化が収益改善の要因。日本貨物航空(NCA/KZ)を中心とする航空運送の経常損益は190億円の黒字(前期は155億円の赤字)に転換する見通し。

NYK Line announced that its full-year consolidated ordinary income for the fiscal year ending March 2021 is expected to be 70 billion yen (+ 57% YoY). It has been revised upward by 3.5 times compared to the previous forecast announced in early August. The factors behind the improvement in profits are the booming North American trade of container ships, the recovery of logistics demand, and the tight supply and demand of air transportation due to the suspension of passenger flights, driven by the demand for nesting in the United States. Ordinary income of air transportation centered on Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA / KZ) is expected to turn into a surplus of 19 billion yen (a deficit of 15.5 billion yen in the previous fiscal year).
