山九は、タイ発インド向けにシー＆レールによるダイレクト混載(LCL)サービスを始めた。バンコク市内とレムチャバン港の中間にあるラッカバンCFSで荷受けして同港で本船に積み、インド西岸・ピパバブ港で揚げ、同国国内鉄道に接続してデリー近郊のガリハルサ―ルICD(インランドコンテナデポ)内のCFSまでスルー輸送する。混雑するインド西岸のムンバイ・ナバシェバ港を回避する代替サービスで週1便の定期運航となる。ピパバブからデリーに直行する定期専用列車を利用することで、リードタイムを最短20日とし、従来より8日間短縮するという。タイ発第3国向けLCLの定期サービスは同社としては初めて。
