輸出船契約前年度2割減　20% decrease of export ship contracts in FY2019

日本船舶輸出組合によると、2019年度の輸出船の契約実績(受注量)は845万㌧(前年度比-21%)だった。中韓勢との競争激化に加え新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大などで鉄鉱石や原油、雑貨といった物資を運ぶ海運市況が悪化し、新造船需要が低下した。

According to the Japan Ship Export Association, the contract record (order volume) for export ships in FY2019 was 8.45 million tons (-21% compared to the previous year). In addition to intensifying competition with the Chinese and South Koreans, the spread of new coronavirus infections, etc. worsened shipping market conditions for goods such as iron ore, crude oil, and miscellaneous goods.
