台湾船社主要3社（ワンハイラインズ、エバーグリーン、ヤンミン）の2020年第1四半期決算は、新型コロナウイルスの影響による需要減などを背景に、最終段階で3社とも大幅な減益となった。ワンハイラインズは前年同期比92.1%減と大幅減ながら、最終段階で8300万台湾ドルと黒字を維持したが、エバーグリーンとヤンミンはともに赤字を計上。ヤンミンはバルク事業子会社の損失認識で3億3000万台湾ドルを計上したことも業績悪化に繋がった。エバーグリーンは営業段階では減益ながら黒字を維持したものの、最終損益では約10億台湾ドル悪化し、4億4100万台湾ドルの赤字。ヤンミンは営業段階では改善したが、最終損益は前年同期の6億1200万台湾ドルの赤字から8億1800万ドルの赤字へと赤字幅が拡大した。
