MSC(スイス)とCMA CGM(フランス)は、ブロックチェーン貿易プラットフォーム「トレードレンズ(TradeLens)」に参加した。トレードレンズはIBMと物流大手のマースクが開発した国際貿易プラットフォーム。モノのインターネット(IoT)と感覚データを統合して、コンテナを追跡が可能で、温度調整やコンテナ重量などさまざまな数値も追跡できる。貨物船業者や港湾関係企業、税関、銀行、物流会社などの企業や組織が約100社参加している。MSCは業界第2位で、CMA CGMは第4位。これら大手の参加により、全世界の海上貨物の50%近くが分散型台帳技術(DLT)を活用して追跡されるようになるという。
MSC (Switzerland) and CMA CGM (France) have joined the blockchain trading platform "TradeLens". Trade lens is an international trading platform developed by IBM and logistics giant Marsk. By integrating sensory data with the Internet of Things (IoT), containers can be tracked, and various values such as temperature control and container weight can be tracked. About 100 companies and organizations such as cargo carriers, port companies, customs, banks and logistics companies are participating. MSC is second in the industry and CMA CGM is fourth. With the participation of these majors, nearly 50% of the world's ocean freight will be tracked using distributed ledger technology (DLT).
