Narita Airport, Highest Number of Aircraft Arrivals and Departures

According to Narita International Airport Company (NAA), the number of aircraft departures and arrivals at Narita Airport in August was 22,311, up 1% from the same month of the previous year. The breakdown was 17603 international routes (+2%) and 4708 domestic routes (-5%). The total number of arrivals and departures and international routes are monthly, and the maximum number of arrivals and departures has been reached since the opening of the port. International air cargo volume (total imports and exports) was 168,510 tons (-10%) for three consecutive months, down from the previous year. The number of international freight flights declined by 14% overall, mainly due to a 77% decline in the number of Nippon cargo airlines (NCA/KZ) that stopped operating most of their aircraft.
