日本郵船が発表した、日本貨物航空(NCA/KZ)の2020年3月期決算は、売上高が753億円(前期比+32.8%増)、経常損益が4億円改善の155億円の赤字だった。自社貨物機8機の稼働が高まり、前期から売上高は大幅増。一方で、期を通じて米中貿易摩擦などの影響で航空貨物需要が伸び悩んだことで、貨物の搭載率や運賃単価が下落して前期並みの赤字だった。2021年3月期の経常損益は、新型コロナウイルスに伴う貨物スペース縮小により、運賃市況の改善やチャーター便需要の増加が続くと見て120億円の黒字を見込んだ。

Ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2021 is expected to be 12 billion yen, assuming that the freight market will continue to improve and demand for charter flights will continue due to the shrinking cargo space associated with the new coronavirus.
