エアアジア・グループの物流部門「テレポート・コマース・マレーシア(以下、テレポート)」は、ブロックチェーン(BC)技術を活用した、世界初のデジタル航空貨物ネットワーク「フレイトチェーン」を運用開始した。荷主、フォワーダーはオンライン環境にあれば、BCで検証された航空貨物スペースの入札をリアルタイムに行い、数分で予約完了できる。時間のかかる書類やEメール、電話でのプロセスを同プラットフォーム上の作業に置き換えることで、従来の10倍の速さで成約可能になるという。
AirAsia Group's logistics division "Teleport Commerce Malaysia (Teleport)" has started operation of the world's first digital air freight network "Freightchain" utilizing blockchain (BC) technology. Shippers and forwarders can bid in BC-verified air cargo space in real time and complete reservations in minutes if they are online. By replacing time-consuming documents, emails, and phone processes with work on the platform, the company can close deals 10 times faster than before.
