カザフスタンは、3月5日以降に同国カスピ海沿岸のアクタウ港とクリク港で、アゼルバイジャンとイランからの船舶や乗客輸送、運転手を含む自動車(トレーラー)輸送へのサービス提供を一時的に停止する。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大防止が目的。コンテナ輸送(アクタウ港)、フェリーによる鉄道貨物輸送(クリク港)などで船員の上陸が制限される。積み替え作業自体は継続されるが、運転手が必要となるトレーラー輸送(クリク港)は輸送に支障が出る懸念がある。
Kazakhstan will temporarily stop providing services to Azerbaijan and Iran for ships, passengers, and motor vehicles (trailers) from Azerbaijan and Iran at the ports of Aktau and Krik on the Caspian Sea coast from March 5 . The purpose is to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Landing of seafarers is restricted by container transportation (Aktau port) and rail freight transportation by ferry (Kurik port). Although the transshipment work itself is continued, there is a concern that trailer transportation (Kurik Port), which requires a driver, may hinder transportation.
